Dr. Meera Rathi
Dr. Meera Rathi, known to her patients as Dr. Meera, is a board-certified pediatric dentist dedicated to making dental visits a positive and empowering experience for children and their families. She purchased what was formerly the office of Scott Bialik, DDS in 2024, and changed the name to Smile Loft Pediatric Dental, bringing with her a vision to create a calm, modern environment that puts both parents and kids at ease.
After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Meera completed specialty training in pediatric dentistry, equipping her with the skills and knowledge to treat infants, children, and teens — including those with special health care needs. Her board certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry reflects her commitment to the highest standard of clinical excellence.
Dr. Meera’s approach blends clinical expertise with warmth and compassion. She takes a preventive, minimally invasive philosophy, focusing on preserving natural tooth structure and encouraging healthy habits early. Whether she’s treating a toddler at their very first dental visit or helping a nervous teen through a procedure, her calm demeanor and patient-centered approach make all the difference.
Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Meera values building relationships with families. She believes that trust is the foundation of effective pediatric care, and that when a child feels understood, they’re more likely to have a lifetime of positive dental experiences.

Your Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Jagat N. Patel
Dr. Jagat Patel began his dental education at the Government Dental College in Ahmedabad, India, before advancing his studies at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he completed the International Dental Doctoral program.
In 1990, Dr. Patel returned to Connecticut and started practicing in the Danbury area. After gaining experience in private practice, he opened his own practice in 1991, where he has continued to serve the Greater Danbury community and build long-lasting relationships with many patients.
A passionate community advocate, Dr. Patel founded the Indian Association of Western Connecticut and served as its President from 2008 to 2010. He remains actively involved in local events. In response to the 2004 Tsunami, Dr. Patel organized a relief fundraiser that raised over $50,000 for the victims. His contributions during this crisis earned him recognition from the Danbury City Council.
